Pink Tractor a national women in agriculture magazine, was looking for articles on women in oyster aquaculture and chose to feature this editorial, submitted by Shelby Watson-Hampton, about SMADC’s Southern Maryland Oyster Guide and SMADC’s work with our awesome aquaculture producers and the talented Remsberg Photography team; and not only did they use it, they made it the featured cover story!

The featured oyster women are Rachel Dean of Patuxent River Seafood and Jill Buck of Patuxent Seafood Company, both women raise aquaculture oysters and work the waters of the Patuxent River.  Read the online magazine article HERE
