The Oyster Recovery Partnership (ORP) recently compiled a list of Maryland oyster farms offering online or phone-in orders and curbside pickup options during the COVID emergency (including several of our Southern Maryland producers – Double T Oyster Ranch, Hollywood Oyster Co., True Chesapeake Oyster Co., VanAlstine Seafood and Farm).

Many oyster farms have suffered through the pandemic due to restaurant closures. Now more than ever they need your support.  So if you are craving for a taste of these delicious bi-valves in the comfort of your own home, these farms are offering direct to consumer deliveries.

Not a ‘R’ in the month?  – No worries, you can enjoy oysters now and year-round thanks to the Triploid oyster (spawnless oysters bred to be delicious any month of the year).  According to the ORP, oysters can safely stay in your fridge for about two weeks, so no need to eat them all in one sitting!
